"The Sartorialist" is a fashion blog by Scott Schuman in New York. After leaving a fashion sales position to take care of his daughter in 2005, he began carrying a digital camera around on the streets of New York City, taking pictures of people who had dressed in some way that caught his eye, and then posting them to his blog, sometimes with comments about what he finds. He pioneered fashion photography in blog form. He describes his philosophy as trying to echo how fashion designers looked at what they saw on the street. Schuman has taken photos in different locations besides New York, often Paris, Stockholm, London and Milan when he has gone there for fashion shows. His subjects range from fashion celebrities like Karl Lagerfeld to unidentified regular people. Schuman began getting other work from serious fashion publications. Condé Nast tapped him to do something similar during Fashion Week in Paris for its style.com website. He also regularly works events for Saks Fifth Avenue, and says French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld has also talked to him about doing something for her magazine

倫敦天氣已是入球，溫度20出頭，燦爛的陽光透過黃色的樹葉誘惑我出門玩耍。Hello sunshine, I'm coming!

9月是London Design Festival，不同的galleries, museums and even pubs are decorated with various art items. 我愛fashion,所以我再次去了V&A,就看美圖吧!

最近愛上Ceramics，這些超抽象的我看不懂！

我這個沒有毅力的人周末說要學習的卻又忍不住出去玩了。只能這樣了：閉關10日！馬上回來！希望出關後能直接回家找小葉玩啊!!

周末時間過得飛快，我也就更加懶了。今天是我愛的Twiggy六十大壽。還是某日看電視節目介紹British Fashion History第一次看到了Twiggy。她是the face of 1966 還是world first supermodel，但是很快她就模特退休啦"You can't be a clothes hanger for your entire life!"。然後她開創了Twiggy品牌的fashion clothing, 再來她就開始演電影,不是玩票哦，一口氣得兩個金球獎；然後開始發唱片又得音樂獎；然後又開始有自己的電視欄目。我想她長得有如精靈，是老天的寵兒吧。但是那些title不是我喜歡她的原因。你看到她的照片，盡管是1960s的，你依然會立刻被她吸引。我想這個就是經典吧，2009年回頭再看, 仍然那麽美，而且是獨樹一幟的美。

借用Guardian的話：

“ Icons of youth and beauty are not supposed to grow old, let alone grow old gracefully. They are supposed to live fast and die young, or else rage against the dying of the light with fidelity issues and plastic surgery. So it is against the odds, really, that Twiggy turns 60 today still beautiful (even if the saucer eyes are now edged by fine lines rather than by the three pairs of false eyelashes she wore when she was the Face of 1966), still a working model, and with little outward sign of the squeamishness that surrounds the issue of ageing in many women in the public eye.”

我想倫敦呆久了對我影響最大之一就是拋棄對於designer的盲目崇拜，而開始了我的小玩意尋寶之旅！任何有特色，任何uniqie的，任何有故事的piece都讓我急著想收藏！ 因為在投票選擇2009的Best Retailor的Accessories欄時偶然發現了Anna Lou of London。Anna Lou的飾品價格也不貴，基本都低於50磅。Anna也是20多歲開始自制飾品的，還是在一次失戀之後沒太多錢去retail therapy就開始了自己動手。她的作品在celebrities相當popular，並且在vogue, ELLE, Marie Clarie, Grazia等各大雜誌都有推薦！為了鼓勵自己這個月好好學習，我已經選擇好給我自己的禮物啦！

夏天不經意地走了。現在出門已經是遍地的落葉了。每當聽到我住倫敦，人人都說那不是經常陰雨天氣。其實不然，或許英國北部以及蘇格蘭是那樣，倫敦有許多sunny的日子，但是風大倒是真的。除了動作大片去電影院看，我喜歡陰天窩家裏，裹著fleece blanket,喝著我的hot chocolate看碟。

最近看的是The Curious Case of Benjamin Button。盡管結局有點悲劇，但是我很喜歡影片整體的懷舊味道。而深深打動我的是Benjamin留給女兒的話：

“For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.”

這讓我聯想到了之前打動我的Revolutionary Road. 也許在這個recession的年頭，每個人都需要一點勇氣去stay the same way they are living or make a change to pursue the life they really want. 一起努力吧！或者先一起看片吧！

新的部落格想要多介紹我在倫敦收集的淘寶記。偶然在雜誌發現了這個品牌的小飾品，然後親自去了她家的小店，更加喜歡。我喜歡那款*Yeah!* Chunky Necklace，你呢？而且每款項鏈價格也不貴，也就是20磅左右哎。
